PetStock
PETstock is an Australian-owned company that provides specialised pet products and services through retail stores and veterinary clinics.
The company joined the Qantas Frequent Flyer program back in February. Under the partnership, members can earn up to 5 Qantas Points per dollar spent. This does vary according to the product or service that is purchased:
- 1 Qantas Point per $1 spent on everyday pet supplies and veterinary services.
- 3 Qantas Points per $1 spent on grooming and puppy school.
- 5 bonus Qantas Points per $1 spent when you purchase the same participating brand again within the qualifying period.
In order to earn Qantas Points at PetStock, you need to be a member of their in-house rewards program and have opted in to earn Qantas Points.
You can simply follow these steps:
- Join PETstock Rewards
- Choose to earn Qantas Points
- Simply shop in-store or log in online to earn Qantas Points
Note that by opting in to earn Qantas Points you will no longer earn rewards in their in-house rewards program.
Thoughts
Under the standard PETstock Rewards program, you basically earn a $10 credit for every $500 you spend. In addition, on some purchases, you could earn a 15% rebate.
By choosing Qantas Points, you will get 500 Qantas Points instead of the $10 credit. Whether or not switching to Qantas Points makes sense depends on the value you can get out of them.
