Velocity has added a new redemption option – the ability to use point to purchase flights with Tigerair Australia. In addition, it is possible to use Velocity Points to pay for other items in the booking process, such as Baggage, Seat Selection, and Food. In addition, there are options available ot redeem Flybuys points for the travel services. First announced last year, Qantas has launched its new Qantas Assure program. Under the program, Qantas will offer Health Insurance to its members. Policy Holders will also be able to earn points for performing activities such as walking. All up, Qantas members will be able to earn up to 70,000 Qantas Points in the first year.
