With all of the challenges that small businesses have faced over the last few years, many small businesses have been fighting for survival. As a result, many have put their business dreams on hold.
American Express has launched a new competition for American Express-accepting small businesses. The Dream Backers competition has a prize pool valued at up to AU$150,000. At the end of the competition, one lucky small business will win the chance to unlock its boldest business dreams.
Competition Details
In order to enter the competition, you need to be a small business in Australia actively trading and accepting payments via American Express. In addition, you will need to meet the following conditions:
- Must meet one of the following conditions around surcharging:
- not surcharge American Express cardholders, or
- only apply a surcharge that is not more than any surcharge it applies to other credit cards
- Must have registered less than AUD$1.3 million American Express charge volume in the last 12 months. That is the 12 months prior to the commencement of the promotion period.
How to enter?
Do you match the eligibility criteria?. If so, you have until 11:59 pm AEDT on Friday, 26 November 2021 to enter the competition.
Eligible small businesses have until 26 November to explain in 25 words or less their boldest business dream and can enter their submission at www.americanexpress.com/australia/dreambackers.
