All – Accor Live Limitless is the latest version of the Accor Hotels loyalty program. The program allows you to earn and redeem points at most hotels in the Accor family. This includes the likes of the Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel, Mercure, and Ibis (excluding Ibis Budget) brands.
A brief history
The program kicked off on September 15, 2008, under the name A|Club. Subsequently, on 28 March 2012, the program was renamed to Le Club AccorHotels. Finally, in December 2019, Accor became ALL – Accor Live Limitless.
During that time the program has evolved. For example, new features and status levels have been added, while additional benefits have been added at existing levels.
Program Basics
Accor Live Limitless is free to join and can be done quickly online. Once this process is completed, you will be issued with your membership number. From then, you can earn and redeem points at hotels across the Accor family.
Points in the program remain active as long as you have activity in a 12 month period. This means that as long as you continue to have account activity – earning or redeeming points – the points will not expire.
Participating hotel brands include Sofitel, Pullman, M Gallery, Grand Mercure, Mercure, Novotel, The Sebel, Suite Novotel, Ibis, Ibis Styles, Adagio and Adagio Access.
There are some non-participating hotels. For example, Ibis Budget Worldwide does not participate in the program. In addition, Ibis hotels in China do not participate.
In addition to the brand exclusions, there are a handful of specific properties that have chosen not to participate. For example, in Australia, the Grand Mercure Apartments The Vintage, Hunter Valley hotel does not participate.
Status Tiers
In common with many hotel programs, ALL has various status tiers. Generally, you can progress through the levels by either staying the requisite number of nights or earning the number of points required to gain the level.
Basically, the requirement to progress through the levels is based on your earnings over a calendar year. At the start of the year, your counts of both nights and Status Points are set to zero for the year. After each stay, the count of the number of nights, and Status Points total for the year will be updated.
As you achieve the requirements for a level, you will move up to that level. Once there, you will be at that status level for the remainder of that year, plus the following year.
In the second year, you will need to earn status again to keep it for the third year.
The requirements for the levels are:
Level | Nights | Status Points |
---|---|---|
Classic – Entry Level | ||
Silver | 10 | 2,000 |
Gold | 30 | 7,000 |
Platinum | 60 | 14,000 |
Diamond | N/A | 26,000 |
On the downside, there is no separate allowance for counting stays toward status. Other programs such as Hilton, have a night or stay requirement. Counting by stays is generally better for people that may have many single nights stays, however, it is not something that works in this program.
Earning Status Points
Status Points are awarded after each qualifying stay and are one of the measures for determining your status level. Status Points are awarded based on your spend in the hotels. As such, they are effectively a measure of the revenue you have brought to program.

Rewards Points Earning
The number of Reward Points that you earn for a stay is based on the room charges. There are two further factors. Firstly, the brand of hotel affects your earning rate, as some brands earn at different rates to others. Secondly, you are given a Status Bonus, and as such your status level will affect the number of Reward Points you earn.
Being a French company, points earnings are based on your overall spend after it has been converted to Euro. The number of points earned for each 10 Euro of spending is shown in the following table:
Hotel / Status | Classic | Silver | Gold | Platinum |
---|---|---|---|---|
Sofitel | 25 points | 31 points | 37 points | 44 points |
Pullman | 25 points | 31 points | 37 points | 44 points |
Grand Mercure | 25 points | 31 points | 37 points | 44 points |
M Gallery | 25 points | 31 points | 37 points | 44 points |
The Sebel | 25 points | 31 points | 37 points | 44 points |
Novotel | 25 points | 31 points | 37 points | 44 points |
Suite Novotel | 25 points | 31 points | 37 points | 44 points |
Mercure | 25 points | 31 points | 37 points | 44 points |
Ibis | 12.5 points | 15.5 points | 18.5 points | 22 points |
Ibis Styles | 12.5 points | 15.5 points | 18.5 points | 22 points |
Adagio | 10 points | 12.5 points | 15 points | 17.5 points |
Adagio Access | 5 points | 6.25 points | 7.5 points | 8.75 points |
Posting of Points
After you have checked out, your account will normally be updated within a few days to reflect the stay.
When the points post to your account, you will typically see two transactions. Firstly, you will see the base level earning. In most cases, this is 25 points per 10 Euro, although it can vary by brand. Either way, this reflects the earning that a classic level member will achieve.
Secondly, you will see points labelled as ‘Points Accelerator’. This is basically your status bonus. It is calculated based on the difference between the points a base Classic member would earn and the number of points that is applicable to your status level.
As an example, consider a Silver member staying at a Novotel. The earn rate for a Classic member is 25 Points for each 10 Euro, while the earn rate for a Silver Member is 31 points for each 10 Euro. The difference of 6 points per 10 Euro will be posted as the Accelerator earn.
This is significant when Accor holds promotions such as double, triple or even quadruple points. In most cases, the bonus is paid only on the base Classic level of points and does not include any earning posted under the ‘Accelerator’ title.
Redeeming points
Accor Live Limitless is a little unusual in the way redemptions work. Most other programs offer reward nights. In contrast, Accor publishes a value for the points in the program – 2,000 points have a value of 40 Euro. This is different to many programs where there is no direct relationship between points and a specific monetary value.
Online room payments
An alternative method of using points to discount room rates is to apply the points at the same time you make the booking. Again, 2,000 points is good for 40 Euro. However, in this case, it is Accor themselves that performs the currency conversion using an internal rate of exchange.
Partner transfers
Another alternative is to transfer points to another program. ALL points can be transferred to various airline programs. For example, they can be converted to Qantas Points on a 1 for 1 basis.
Points can either be transferred manually (generally in blocks of 4,000 points), or the account can be set up to automatically transfer across as they are earned.
